On weekdays after 5:00 p.m. & weekends all day, free parking is available in the far end of the lot behind us (entrance on 15 Ave). Do not park in Stalls 104-120 (the first row directly behind the building) or you may be towed.
Class Check-In
Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first class and check-in at the table in our lobby. You are required to sign a Release & Waiver Form before the first class in order to participate. After the first week, there will be a clipboard with the class list hanging outside your studio. Please mark the correct date box beside your name. Drop-in students, 10 class-card holders and students making up classes need to check in at the front desk before entering the studio.
Locker Facilities
Please try to keep studios as clear of personal belongings as possible to allow for more dance space. Lockers, in the women's and men's washrooms, are available to use while in class. Feel free to bring a lock to secure your belongings, but we advise you not to bring valuables with you. DJD is not responsible for lost or stolen items. No overnight locker use is available. Please take all belongings with you when leaving the facility.
Lost And Found
Large items are kept in a container located in the coatroom. Small items, such as jewelry, are kept at the front desk. At the end of each session, unclaimed items are donated to charity.
Missed Classes
If you miss a class, you are entitled to make it up in any class at your level. Make-up classes must be completed within the same session and are not transferable to the next session. Students must check in at the front desk when doing a make-up class. We do not recommend make-ups for children under six.
Demo Week
Share your dance experience with family and friends! Several times each session we host observation weeks, where family and friends can watch your class. At the end of the Winter Session there will be a casual, in-studio demonstration for family and friends, followed by a social. Check the School Calendar for upcoming observation dates.
Injuries
Please notify the teacher or a staff member immediately if you are injured so that proper care can be given. A first aid kit and ice are available for your use if needed.
Refund Policy
In order to receive a refund or credit, students must cancel one week before the session begins. After the first class, refunds will only be given for medical reasons, with a doctor's note. The refund will be pro-rated based on the number of classes that have passed. There is a $20 administration fee on all refunds and the annual membership fee is non-refundable.
