Decidedly Jazz Danceworks enriches lives by engaging people in exploring, evolving and promoting the art of jazz dance. Our professional performances are eclectic, exciting and high energy.
Regardless of the style or theme of a particular show, at the heart of DJD's dance is an authentic respect for and connection to jazz music, especially live music which has led many to describe our dance as "music for the eyes."
The DJD style has evolved out of the work of the company's founding dancers and current artists who work in jazz styles and derivatives such as tap, swing, hip hop, funk, blues and more.
